Making large bitcoin transactions can be intimidating. If you send your bitcoin to the wrong address, it's unrecoverable!

We've engineered the most secure address verification workflow available, now supporting Ledger, and enhanced for Coldcard and Trezor. Confirming your address on your hardware wallet before sending bitcoin to the address teaches you three important things.

1. You're in control: When your device displays the address on its screen, the device is telling your that it controls one of the keys to the address. You know that the device partially or fully controls the address.
2. No viruses: Your computer or phone does not have malicious software installed that is finding and replacing addresses with an attacker's address. By verifying that your hardware wallet shows the same address as your computer, you know that your computer is not compromised in this way.
3. No funny business: The address is constructed correctly (EG 2-of-3 multisig). If you don’t verify the address, you're trusting that your collaborative custody partner has not secretly added additional keys to your wallet.
